Dr. Dorsey leads the Division of Policy and Data in supporting many key minority health priority areas, including the HHS Action Plan to Reduce Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities, the implementation of provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that address health disparities and health equity, the White House Initiatives on Minority-Serving Institutions and Educational Excellence, evaluation of the enhanced National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services for Health and Health Care, and data policy. Dr. Dorsey also supports the coordination of the HHS Health Disparities Council and assisted with drafting the Disparities Action Plan - the first ever department-wide disparities strategic plan.
