In its continuous effort to eliminate health disparities among racial and ethnic minorities, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Office of Minority Health (OMH) recently announced $8.9 million in grants and cooperative agreements for health improvement projects. The recipients include national and community-based organizations, tribal epidemiology centers, and institutions of higher education.
