Chronic Liver Disease and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander

  • Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders were seven times more likely to be diagnosed with chronic liver disease in 2006.
  • American Samoans are 8 times more likely to develop liver cancer as non-Hispanic Whites.
  • Recently published data on this topic from the CDC is very limited.
